Emily Maguire

Hi welcome to my website. Feel free to view my showreel and voicereels and have a general look around. Alongside being an actor, I am also the Managing Director of Reflections Talent Agency. Reflections started as a Yorkshire based agency in 2012, but in 2013 expanded to represent Talent Worldwide.

The agency can be followed on Facebook or Twitter

Also I co-own Snowball Productions which is currently in pre-production with a couple of projects with more to come, including a TV Series. Take a look at our first film Journey Bound on Imdb where you will also find links to Snowball's Imdb page and further details.

Please note I have bases in both London and Yorkshire and frequently work at either location.

The biggest highlight, for me so far of 2013, is working on the Feature Film 71, with Warp Films, Directed by the fantastic Director Yann Demange. Yann helped me during the filming, guiding me to what he wanted and it was a fantastic experience, working alongside such a high profile Director.

Previous work includes the commercial 'Timeless Classics' comedy idents with the company Biscuit, directed by Matt Carter. I have also worked with the Director Sam Miller playing the role of Sarah Oakeshott, on the BBC North production Good Cop. Currently I can be seen in the short 'Gatecrasher' starring Ryan Prescott, playing the publicist Michelle Addison. More details about my extensive work history can be found by clicking on the links to the left.

Modelling I started working as a model in 2012 and most recently took part in a photoshoot for the NHS with AVT Connect and a Vintage fashion photoshoot with SelfStyled Photography. My modelling profile can be seen on Model Mayhem or look at the 'Modelling Portfolio' on this website.

February 2014 Blog and Modelling Portfolio updated.

Testimonials:

"Emily Maguire was great to have on set throughout a very long shoot day. Biscuit would have no hesitation recommending her" Tim Tyrrell - Managing Partner - 'Biscuit'

"Emily worked with us on our first event - a theatrical screening in Leeds. The role didn't have any lines but required actors to interact with the audience, encouraging them to take part and embrace the event/experience. The audience responded extremely well to Emilys character. We had a number of guests commenting on Emilys acting ability, and how she encouraged the audience to get involved without feeling intimidated. Once briefed, Emily needed very little direction, and was more than capable of managing herself. Overall, a fantastic actress, with a great deal of common sense, enthusiasm, and acting skills. We would definite approach Emily for our future events." Julia Benfield - Sneaky Experience

"Reliable and Professional - would highly recommend - thank you!" Verity Cowper - Nice and Serious

"Fantastic shoot only because of your professionalism and attitude...thank you." Adrian Forrest - AFP Images

"We were very impressed by your portfolio, show reels and of course, your video audition. I liked your take on the character with the conflicting emotions you showed as well as your potential to be an engaging screen presence." Tom Young - Independent Filmmaker
